The hotel is located 5 km east of Downtown Traverse City. Take US-31 North at Three Mile Rd. The hotel is next to State Park Campground and across from the beach. From the airport go left on S. Airport, left on Three Mile, and right on US 31 North. The hotel entrance is the second driveway on the right.
A free complimentary hot breakfast is offered to guests daily. Guests in a hurry may grab a free On the Run breakfast bag, available Monday through Friday.
The hotel offers free high-speed Internet access in every guest room. Guest amenities include a lapdesk for guests' laptops and music is available by pressing one of the pre-set buttons on the room's alarm clock. All are en suite with a shower, bath and hairdryer. In-room amenities include a king-size bed, direct dial telephone, satellite/cable TV, tea and coffee making facilities, an ironing set and individually regulated air conditioning.

Traverse City is in a community that has a long maritime history. The name, in fact, came from the French-Canadian traders who referred to the 8-km crossing at the mouth of the bay as ‘La Grande Traverse'. Today, visitors to Traverse City love the sand and the crystal-clear, aqua-coloured lakes. There are a lot of them around the hotel - the area is home to 290 km of Lake Michigan shoreline and 149 lakes. There is also a plenty of shopping, restaurants, culture and sports.
