Renovated in 2008, the main building of this family-friendly beach hotel comprises 120 guest rooms with a full range of amenities. Facilities on offer to guests at this air-conditioned establishment include a lobby area with a 24-hour reception service, a hotel safe, a currency exchange facility, lift access and an American café bar. Guests are also offered a restaurant and a conference room. They can also take advantage of the room service (limited hours), a bazaar, a bar/tobacconists, bicycle hire, a newspaper stand and even a unisex hairdresser's. The hotel provides excellent childcare facilities and there is a kids' club and a children's playground for the youngest guests. Extensive free private parking is available for residents.
Guests arriving by car should drive to Piombino, follow the signs to the port and take the ferry to Portoferraio (1 hour crossing time). From Portoferraio it is a 7 km drive, following the signs to Porto Azzurro and then to Lacona.
The bedrooms have been tastefully furnished and come with all modern comforts: individually adjustable air conditioning, a safe, a minibar, a double bed, satellite TV, a direct dial telephone and a private bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer. Wifi free.

This hotel is situated in the centre of the Gulf of Lacona, between the green hills and the crystal clear blue sea. It is only a few metres from long fine sandy beaches and is perfect for a relaxing break in the heart of the Tuscan Archipelago National Park, the biggest marine park in Italy. There are restaurants and bars in Lacona within a 500 m radius of the hotel and the nearest bus stop is just 300 m away. The centre of Portoferraio, where guests will find the bus station and shops, is only 8 km away.
